About the role
- Data Scientist II role at TD analyzing digital data to enhance customer experience. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and improve digital performance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with digital, marketing, product, and technology teams to apply business and channel strategies to web and mobile analytics
- Analyze customer behavior across digital channels to uncover actionable insights and optimization opportunities
- Develop and deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that improve customer experience, conversion, engagement, and overall digital performance
- Conduct end-to-end analytics including hypothesis development, data extraction, analysis, insight synthesis, and executive-ready storytelling
- Translate complex digital data into clear, consumable dashboards and visualizations
- Act as a bridge between business partners and data teams, translating digital business requirements into analytics solutions
- Serve as a subject matter expert in digital channel analytics
- Educate and enable business partners to interpret digital metrics
- Communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
- 2+ years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
- Experience using either Python OR SQL OR Spark to manipulate data
- Experience with Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics as an asset
- Experience with Power BI as a plus
- Experience in project development workflow tools such as JIRA, Confluence and GitHub is considered a plus
- Knowledge in leveraging cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, Databricks) in deploying analytics solutions
