About the role
- Software Engineer II developing scalable and secure mainframe solutions for TD’s Merchant Solution. Supporting mission-critical applications, ensuring performance and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop program specifications; design, code, integrate, test, debug, and implement mainframe solutions
- Support business inquiries and operational needs through enhancements and maintenance
- Participate in quality management reviews to ensure completeness and quality
- Provide technical support during incident management
- Actively identify and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 10+ years of application development experience
- Strong engineering background delivering enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience in application design and development, such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM
- Familiar with SAS, CA-7, IBM OS/390, Z/OS, TSO
- Strong knowledge of business domain and engineering frameworks
