About the role
- Software Engineer III responsible for technical vision and leadership in Guidewire ClaimCenter delivery at TD. Managing teams and ensuring quality in software deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical vision and direction for deliverables in the POD
- Leads work package from inception to delivery managing timeline, scope and resources effectively
- Ensures a high degree of quality in the deliverables including non-functional requirements
- Actively looks for opportunities where code can be optimized against a chosen functionality in the deliverable
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years experience in configuration and Guidewire Implementations in ClaimCenter
- Certified in Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration or Integration
- Understanding of all aspects of Development and Deliverables
- Able to make key design decisions evaluating Short Term Gains against Long Term Sustainability.
- Experience in managing key Stakeholders within and outside the POD
- In charge of Design and Architecture implementation for deliverables
- Managing a collaborative and productive team environment
- Ability to manage crisis scenarios and involve SEM/SE as necessary
