About the role

  • Senior Personal Banker advising TD Bank customers on home borrowing, lending, investments, and banking products. Building relationships and driving customer acquisition and market-share growth.

Responsibilities

  • Create a consistent and exceptional branch customer experience, specializing in home borrowing advice
  • Provide expertise on Real Estate Secured Lending products and knowledge of investing, day-to-day banking, and TD products and services
  • Ask questions to uncover customer needs and own solutions or involve experts when appropriate
  • Improve customer financial confidence through dialogue, answers, and advice
  • Act as the branch subject matter expert for TD products, services, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain professional and inviting branch common areas in accordance with premises, marketing, and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct proactive customer outreach by phone and email regarding portfolio updates and opportunities
  • Maintain knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends to support recommendations
  • Ensure customer and business documentation is accurate and retained according to policy
  • Participate as a team member and support a positive, service-focused work environment
  • Attract, acquire, and retain customers, advice opportunities, and referrals to drive TD growth and market share

Requirements

  • High School diploma and/or Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) accreditation or equivalent within 90 days of start date for external candidates
  • Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA) within 6 months of start date for external candidates
  • Internal TD candidates must have IFC accreditation or equivalent prior to start date
  • Internal TD candidates must have CFSA prior to start date
  • Bilingual and francophone candidates are invited to apply for Quebec roles
  • Additional language requirements may be determined through a language-needs assessment when a position becomes available
