About the role
- Senior Personal Banker providing home borrowing advice and financial planning at TD Canada Trust. Creating exceptional customer experiences and deepening relationships in the branch with expertise in secured lending products.
Responsibilities
- Create a consistent and exceptional customer experience in the branch, with specialty and predominant focus in home borrowing advice and experiences
- Requires deep knowledge and expertise of the Real Estate Secured Lending products
- Ask thoughtful questions to uncover and understand Customer needs
- Improve customer financial confidence through ongoing dialogue and by answering questions and providing advice
- Act as a subject matter expert in the branch for both customers and colleagues
- Maintain a professional and inviting space in all common areas of the branch
- Consistently engage in proactive customer outreach
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends to support advice recommendations
- Ensure documentation that is prepared and completed is accurate and properly reflects the customer/business' intentions
- Participate fully as a member of the team and support a positive work environment
- Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by proactively attracting, acquiring and retaining customers
Requirements
- High School diploma and/or
- Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Financial Planning II (FP II) post-appointment within 12 months
- Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent
- Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA)
