Responsibilities
Provide in-field hands-on day-to-day support to operations
Ensure the maximum availability and uptime of the vehicles and equipment
Ensure safety and reliability of the fleet of vehicles and equipment
Support equipment maintenance documentation
Maintain optimum utilization of fleet and manage third party rentals
Understand and become familiar with project scopes
Work with local suppliers to support operational needs
Oversee maintenance technicians in servicing and repairing of equipment
Proactively analyze equipment performance and trends
Effectively plan ahead based on upcoming work and lessons learned
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years’ experience with fleet maintenance of vehicles and construction equipment
Familiar with maintenance and work order practices
Experience using MS Office and an aptitude for learning various computer systems
Familiarity of JD Edwards or equivalent, an asset
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and set priorities
Capable of understanding and following written procedures
