About the role

  • Senior IT Specialist for TEHORA focusing on clinical information systems. Responsibilities include project management and user support in digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • TEHORA is currently seeking a Senior IT Specialist – Clinical and Social Services to contribute to the implementation and advancement of clinical and clinico-administrative information systems within a context of digital transformation and continuous service improvement.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to provide the following services and deliverables, including but not limited to:
  • Participate in the planning, organization and monitoring of projects related to clinical information systems;
  • Collect, analyze and document business requirements;
  • Support users, clinicians and managers during the various phases of projects;
  • Participate in the deployment of clinical and clinico-administrative solutions;
  • Analyze, optimize and review clinical and organizational processes;
  • Coordinate activities between IT teams, users and business partners;
  • Produce functional analyses and the required documentation;
  • Participate in change management activities;
  • Design training and support materials;
  • Develop communication strategies and user support plans;
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups and training sessions;
  • Monitor deliverables, risks and project issues.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as nursing, management, administration or project management;
  • PMP or CAPM certification is an asset;
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in the health network;
  • At least eight (8) years’ experience as a project manager in the area of clinical or clinico-administrative information systems;
  • Significant experience in change management;
  • Clinical experience is an asset;
  • Have participated in the deployment of at least two clinical or clinico-administrative solutions;
  • Experience in contexts where budgets, timelines and resources represent significant constraints;
  • Experience in improving, optimizing and reviewing clinical processes;
  • Have participated in preparing training materials and change management strategies;
  • Proficient with project management tools, monitoring processes and risk management;
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of clinical domains such as Appointments (Rendez-vous), Archives, IPO, ADT, DCI, Pharmacy and Laboratory;
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite as well as Microsoft Project;
  • Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum approaches;
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, leadership and customer service orientation.
