About the role

T-SQL developer converting client data into TELUS Health’s Central Data Repository. Testing transformations, supporting implementations, and resolving data issues for enterprise health clients.

Responsibilities

Program data transformations to integrate clients' initial data into the Central Data Repository (CDR)
Verify data transformations with unit tests
Adjust T-SQL programming based on feedback from QA, Data Conversion leads, testing teams, integrated testing, and clients
Meet project deadlines and communicate risks of delay to the Data Lead or Project Manager
Participate in creating and executing corrective scripts on internal and client environments
Assist and support clients and implementation resources with data issues
Provide technical support for internal resources through T-SQL extracts
Review control reports from the loading process and related action items with the Quality Assurance team

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
Fluency in English and French (written and oral)
Strong experience with T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio
Experience with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and Excel is an asset
Capable of communicating with technical and non-technical people
Intermediate knowledge of English required for regular interaction with English-speaking parties and use of English IT tools
Subject to Government of Canada Personnel Security Screening if job functions require data center work or access to detailed client-service technology knowledge
