About the role
- Maintenance Planner scheduling repairs and managing maintenance systems at Tenaris, a global manufacturer of advanced tubular products and services. Supporting steel mill safety, reporting, contracts, and production plans.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance planning and management control activities
- Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making
- Plan regular and annual scheduled repairs according to production plans and maintenance strategies
- Ensure health, safety and environment standards and practices are applied
- Comply with HSE procedures, report incidents or observations, perform inspections, and participate in investigations
- Implement preventive and corrective actions
- Keep risk analyses and environmental aspect assessments updated
- Analyze and control technical specifications and requirements for maintenance contracts
- Coordinate with external services to fulfill internal user requirements
- Follow up scheduled maintenance activities
- Manage and update the maintenance information system
- Maintain records related to the assigned area
- Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, management standards, laws, and regulations
Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience in industrial maintenance, trades work or hands-on engineering technician is an asset
- 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical Trade (433a), Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with manufacturing environment safety procedures
- Previous experience with SAP considered an asset, or other CMMS system
- Flexibility to work 8-hour days based on business needs
- Participation in an on-call rotation
- Ability to work in a steel manufacturing mill
