About the role

  • Measurement Analyst scaling advertising measurement, experimentation, and attribution for The Globe and Mail, Canada’s trusted media brand. Translating campaign data into client insights and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Apply and scale a unified measurement capability across advertising
  • Ensure measurement approaches align with industry standards, business strategy, and market expectations
  • Contribute to and execute standardized measurement frameworks across advertising products and platforms
  • Define experimentation standards and develop repeatable testing playbooks
  • Design and execute complex or high-priority experiments
  • Develop scalable campaign reporting, attribution frameworks, and audience insights
  • Partner with Product and Data teams to operationalize and productize measurement capabilities
  • Advise Sales and clients by translating measurement outputs into actionable insights
  • Lead complex analyses to support client needs and scalable measurement approaches
  • Analyze campaign performance to identify success drivers, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities
  • Develop benchmarks and best practices across verticals and products
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Ad Tech teams to drive adoption
  • Train internal stakeholders on standardized measurement approaches
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across measurement and reporting systems
  • Define and enforce taxonomy, data standards, and governance practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, marketing, economics, statistics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in media measurement, marketing analytics, or advertising strategy
  • Understanding of full-funnel media measurement (brand through performance)
  • Experience designing and executing experiments (e.g., A/B testing, geo testing, incrementality frameworks)
  • Strong data fluency, including experience working with large datasets and tools such as SQL, Excel, or business intelligence platforms
  • Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear business insights and narratives
  • Experience managing stakeholders across Sales, Product, Marketing, and client groups
  • Ability to work independently and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, measurement methodologies, and evolving privacy considerations
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, marketing analytics platforms, or experimentation methodologies (preferred)
  • Experience working with multi-channel media datasets and attribution models (preferred)
  • Experience with attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling (MMM), lifetime value (LTV), segmentation, or causal inference techniques (preferred)
  • Familiarity with the ad tech ecosystem, including DSPs, CDPs, clean rooms, and identity solutions (preferred)
  • Experience building scalable measurement frameworks or products (preferred)
