About the role
- Ministry Associate enhancing volunteer and guest experiences at Village Church. Responsible for recruitment, development, and support of volunteer teams and leaders in collaborative ministry efforts.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, support, and develop volunteer leaders and teams
- Foster a strong culture of serving, appreciation, and teamwork
- Help create excellent guest experiences for Sunday services and major events
- Collaborate on ministry planning, scheduling, strategy, and budgeting
- Lead and support ministry events and volunteer onboarding experiences
- Maintain accurate volunteer records and communication through Village Church platforms
- Support emergency preparedness and serve as Incident Coordinator
- Manage ministry supplies and equipment
- Participate in Village-wide events, leadership development, and regional collaboration
- Step into leadership support roles as needed
Requirements

- Experience leading or serving in church ministry environments is an asset
- Ability to recruit, motivate, and coach volunteers effectively

- Class 5 driver’s license required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- Salary: $55,000-$58,000 depending on experience
