About the role

  • Web & Digital Coordinator at Village Church, managing website, digital content, and staff support. Ensuring digital presence aligns with mission and developing resources for effective teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Village Church's website and digital platforms.
  • Publish and update web content, graphics, and digital resources.
  • Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with Village Church's mission and brand.
  • Build and maintain Asana projects, templates, and workflows.
  • Create documentation, training resources, and self-serve tools that support staff and ministry teams.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Tier 1 technology support requests and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Help recruit, equip, and support volunteers serving in digital roles.
  • Contribute to Digital Services projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in church-wide events and ministry activities as needed.
  • Ensure the church's digital presence clearly communicates the Gospel and supports the mission of developing fully devoted followers of Christ.
  • Create online experiences that help people take meaningful next steps in their faith journey.
  • Equip staff and volunteers with tools, systems, and training that increase confidence and effectiveness.
  • Reduce friction through clear processes and accessible resources, allowing ministry teams to focus on people.
  • Maintain digital experiences that reflect excellence, intentionality, and hospitality.
  • Support outreach efforts by creating digital pathways that connect people to church events, ministries, and Sunday services.

Requirements

  • Committed follower of Jesus and aligned with Village Church's mission, values, and ministry philosophy.
  • Meets the character qualifications outlined in Scripture and fulfills the expectations of Village Church membership.
  • Demonstrates ongoing spiritual growth through prayer, community, and discipleship.
  • Proficient with digital tools and able to quickly learn new technologies and systems.
  • Experience with website content management systems.
  • Experience with graphic design software such as Affinity Suite or Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience using project management platforms; Asana experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in a church, ministry, nonprofit, or similarly structured organization is an asset.
  • Familiarity with digital communications, website management, and user experience best practices is an asset.
  • Experience creating training materials, documentation, or knowledge-base resources is an asset.
