About the role
- Senior UX Designer creating AI-powered experiences across products at Thomson Reuters. Collaborating with data science and engineering, and leading the design of intuitive user workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of AI-powered features
- Translate model behaviors into UX patterns
- Prototype with real AI/LLM models
- Map collaboration patterns between users and AI
- Partner with data science and engineering teams
- Run usability testing and AI validation studies
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data for evaluative studies
- Contribute to internal design standards
- Identify new opportunities for AI improvements
- Communicate design decisions to senior stakeholders
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional product design experience with a strong portfolio
- Experience designing with AI or LLM technologies
- Strong interaction design skills
- Familiarity with model behaviors and limitations
- Ability to prototype using Figma, Python notebooks, or no-code AI tools
- Hands-on experience planning and executing user research
- Deep systems-thinking skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Commitment to responsible AI principles
- A growth mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity.
