About the role

  • Technical Product Manager owning AI and data roadmaps for Tiny Health’s precision microbiome testing platform. Shipping trustworthy AI experiences and analytics foundations that advance personalized health.

Responsibilities

  • Own and sequence the AI and data roadmap with engineering leadership and the founding team
  • Ship AI experiences to multiple customer segments and drive adoption
  • Apply evaluation standards that make AI trustworthy in a health context
  • Triage incoming requests and focus the pod on the highest-value work
  • Partner with data engineering on the analytics foundation used by company leadership
  • Define success metrics for features before launch, analyze results afterward, and discontinue ineffective initiatives
  • Report to the Co-Founder and COO
  • Collaborate day to day with the VP of Engineering, AI engineers, and data engineer

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years in product management, currently operating at a PM or Senior PM level
  • 4 to 8 years of hands-on engineering experience earlier in the career as a software engineer or similar technical role
  • Experience shipping AI-powered products to production, beyond prototypes or internal experiments
  • Ability to independently determine what to build in a fast-moving technical space and defend the decision against credible alternatives
  • Ability to explain what an AI technique will and will not do for a specific product problem, including failure conditions
  • Ability to earn technical trust quickly and participate in technical decisions
  • Preferred: ability to connect near-term decisions to 12-month consequences and articulate tradeoffs
  • Preferred: ability to persuade skeptical decision-makers through arguments and take clear positions
  • Preferred: comfort structuring messy data and defending conclusions
  • Preferred: experience in healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated data environment
  • Preferred: experience supporting or scoping a data warehouse or analytics buildout
  • Preferred: previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Preferred: work experience in DTC health/wellness companies
  • Preferred: remote-work experience and proficiency in Slack
  • Preferred: self-directed, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity
