About the role

Responsibilities
- Respond to prospective members interested in pet insurance policies
- Understand each member’s unique needs and tailor insurance solutions accordingly
- Present the value of Trupanion’s pet insurance policies
- Maintain control of calls and guide conversations through enrollment
- Provide detailed information about policies and coverage options
- Address members’ questions and objections
- Accurately enroll pets in insurance policies
- Collect and thoroughly document all required information
- Serve as the primary point of contact for current members
- Respond to policy inquiries and provide guidance
- Ensure overall member satisfaction
- Process cancellation requests and understand members’ concerns
- Explore alternative solutions and make every effort to retain members
- Communicate with members by phone and email, adapting communication style as needed
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role
- Previous experience in a bilingual sales or customer service role
- Active Level 1 Damage Insurance or Level 1 Personal Lines Damage Insurance licence issued by the AMF
- Licence to sell insurance in Quebec and in the province where you currently reside
- Fluency in English and French
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
- Ability to adapt to members’ diverse needs and preferences
