About the role

  • Program Specialist mentoring B’not Sherut in educational initiatives and community integration. Supporting their personal and professional growth during a year of volunteer service in Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized mentorship to B’not Sherut
  • Guide and support B’not Sherut in implementing educational initiatives
  • Participate in regular team meetings to address mentoring challenges
  • Plan and coordinate the B’not Sherut interview and selection process
  • Manage all program logistics including transport and wellness
  • Support B’not Sherut’s independent living arrangements and day-to-day wellness
  • Prepare and present periodic progress reports to the Donor

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education preferred (Education, Psychology, Social Work, Jewish Studies, or related field)
  • Experience in working with Israeli Teens in experiential education context
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Hebrew required
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight programs
  • Advanced computer proficiency
  • Deep knowledge of Israeli society and familiarity with the Toronto Jewish community
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are an asset
