- Renewables Lead Electrical Engineer driving growth and success in Ulteig’s electrical engineering offerings. Conducting system studies, mentoring, and leading projects in renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level system studies to support renewable energy projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret results and recommend solutions
- Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as technical lead on projects, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and clients
- Conduct technical reviews and enforce quality control standards
- Research new technologies and contribute to process improvements
- Participate in client meetings, present technical information, and support proposal development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited or equivalent)
- Master’s in Power Systems Engineering preferred
- P.Eng License in Quebec REQUIRED
- U.S P.E preferred
- 7+ years of experience in renewable energy, power systems, or related industry
- Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
- Up to 15% travel required
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must have the ability to travel across the United States and Canada
