About the role

  • Program Coordinator supporting low-income women and gender-diverse clients through outreach, intake, workshops, and follow-ups. Managing community partnerships and evaluating GTA program effectiveness for a national poverty-reduction charity.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage relationships with clients, community partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders
  • Execute program activities including client outreach and recruitment, intake, onboarding, regular follow-ups, and support
  • Participate in program events, job fairs, and other activities
  • Plan, organize, and co-facilitate regular group sessions with clients
  • Support planning, organization, and facilitator recruitment for client workshops
  • Monitor program processes and policies to deliver high-quality services and ensure continuous quality improvement
  • Create and update client files, program documents, and presentations in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
  • Facilitate positive relationships within the program team, with other departments, and with stakeholders
  • Continuously assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Implement changes based on program evaluation findings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience working with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing poverty, housing or employment instability, trauma, domestic violence, mental health and addiction issues, or disabilities
  • Capacity to manage change effectively in a dynamic and growing organization
  • Understanding and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-oppression issues
  • Ability to navigate and develop relationships within the community services sector
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills, including word processing, presentation, email, calendar software, search engines, and web-based platforms
  • Respect for privacy and ability to exercise tact and discretion
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken
  • Preferred: experience in client intake
  • Preferred: proficiency in French, written and spoken
