About the role

Responsibilities
- Pitch and write based on your own travels
- Share honest, practical insight about destinations, including what is worth it, what to skip, and how to plan
- Track article performance and use the results to improve future work
- Follow TheTravel's Editorial Guidelines
- Work with the Lead Editor to implement feedback quickly
- Meet deadlines and submit consistently
Requirements
- 3+ years producing travel content or professional experience in the travel or hospitality industry plus published writing
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience
- SEO knowledge and experience with a CMS are a plus
