About the role
- Senior Controls/Electrical Systems Engineer at Trojan Technologies, delivering electrical designs for North American water treatment projects. Leading automation and digital practices while ensuring compliance in engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the electrical design and delivery of multiple projects across North America
- Design and deliver custom electrical solutions for water treatment systems
- Develop and review CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
- Drive process optimization and standardization using Lean principles
- Leverage and implement AI, automation, and digital tools to improve design efficiency
- Provide technical input to Sales, commissioning, and field teams
Requirements
- BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience
- Experience in control systems: machineries with fluid control systems
- Demonstrated professional experience using UL, CSA standards
- AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical software experience
