About the role
- Senior Platform Engineer with 6+ years of cloud infrastructure experience at Wagepoint. Designing Azure and managing Kubernetes for a reliable payroll SaaS platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve our Azure architecture while supporting our legacy AWS footprint
- Production ownership of Kubernetes (AKS) clusters, including upgrades and scaling
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across multiple environments
- Developer enablement through templates, documentation, and self-service tooling
- Participate in an on-call rotation and production incident response
Requirements
- 6+ years in cloud infrastructure engineering (DevOps, Cloud Architecture, SRE)
- 2+ years hands-on Azure production experience including compute, storage, networking and serverless services
- Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization (Docker, Helm)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Experience designing and owning end-to-end CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub)
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
