About the role

  • Product Manager evolving the Transfers Platform, collaborating with Operations and Engineering at Wealthsimple. Drive improvements and scalability in account transfer systems for Canadian clients.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision for our complete money transfer system, understanding both our software and the manual workflows where our team coordinates with Other Financial Institutions.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering to understand how transfers work today — from client initiation to settlement — and identify where tools and automation can make the biggest impact.
  • Support discovery, planning, and delivery of improvements across the Transfers Platform, helping make Wealthsimple’s transfer systems more scalable, efficient, and reliable.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Canada’s institutional transfer ecosystem (ATON, CDS, Fundserv, DTC, etc.) and how Wealthsimple’s systems interact within it.
  • Use data and feedback to identify bottlenecks, inform prioritization, and measure the impact of platform investments.
  • Contribute to the future of how accounts move across Canada, as Wealthsimple works with banks and industry partners to modernize the transfer experience for everyone.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience with process management — you know how to map workflows, identify bottlenecks, and find opportunities to make them more efficient.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort diving into data to inform decisions.
  • Curiosity about how complex systems work and a drive to make them simpler.
  • A knack for building or improving tools and systems that make operational processes faster and more reliable.
  • Comfort navigating complex organizations and collaborating across teams to get things done.

Benefits

  • Top-tier health benefits and life insurance
  • Long-term group savings with employer match using our Wealthsimple for Business platform
  • 20 vacation days + 4 wellness days per year, and unlimited sick and mental health days
  • 90 days away program: Employees can work outside of Canada for up to 90 days per calendar year
