About the role

  • Principal Product Manager shaping governed AI strategy and production delivery for Merative’s medical imaging platform. Partnering with clinicians, engineering, design, and AI ecosystem partners.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the AI vision and roadmap across the Merge portfolio
  • Determine where AI appears in the data layer, workflow, and reading experience
  • Distinguish workflow and data intelligence built by Merge from pixel AI supplied through the partner marketplace
  • Take high-priority AI capabilities from discovery through launch with radiologists and cardiologists
  • Own the model registry, governance, and monitoring tied to the quality system
  • Reduce time-to-add-a-model from quarters to weeks
  • Turn portfolio-level AI strategy into a sequenced, evidence-backed roadmap
  • Define problem statements and success metrics for AI-assisted reads, turnaround-time reduction, and governed models
  • Lead an empowered, single-threaded team through the AI-native product development lifecycle
  • Represent Merge’s AI direction with customers, clinical advisors, analysts, and internal leadership
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into the roadmap

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product management, including senior ownership of AI/ML-powered products shipped to production at scale
  • Track record of setting strategy and delivering, including owning a roadmap and carrying hard features across the finish line
  • Fluency in applied AI/ML product decisions: model lifecycle, evaluation, governance, monitoring, and trade-offs of putting models in front of expert users
  • Experience partnering with engineering and design in an empowered-team operating model
  • Clear, plain communication for clinicians, executives, and engineers
  • Background in healthcare, medical imaging, clinical workflow, or another regulated domain
  • Experience with platform, marketplace, or partner-ecosystem products
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and regulated software development
