About the role

  • Product Manager shaping Linedata’s Capitalstream lending and leasing software platform. Driving roadmap, SaaS modernization, customer value, and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own and help drive the product strategy, roadmap, and priorities for Capitalstream
  • Develop understanding of customer needs through client engagement, market research, product usage, and industry trends
  • Translate customer requirements and commercial opportunities into product requirements, features, and priorities
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, market demand, strategic importance, and revenue opportunity
  • Assess the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to strengthen Capitalstream’s market position
  • Support product planning, forecasting, and business analysis for leadership
  • Identify opportunities to turn custom development, consulting engagements, and value-added processes into scalable product capabilities
  • Partner with Engineering, Development, and Quality Assurance throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Define product and feature requirements and align business and technical stakeholders
  • Direct and prioritize development and QA teams for enhancements and new capabilities
  • Evaluate technical challenges and develop specifications addressing customer and product needs
  • Prioritize and manage product releases, enhancement packages, and hotfixes
  • Help evolve Capitalstream from on-premise deployments toward SaaS-based solutions
  • Support modern DevOps, CI/CD, build, and deployment practices
  • Maintain focus on product quality, usability, scalability, and customer experience
  • Serve as product subject matter expert for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Engage customers to gather feedback, validate priorities, and identify product improvement opportunities
  • Partner with Sales and client-facing teams on strategic opportunities and communicate the Capitalstream value proposition
  • Provide product training and enablement to Sales, Implementation Services, Development, QA, and Support teams
  • Support Marketing with new product capability launches and offerings
  • Evaluate partnerships, integrations, and licensing opportunities
  • Build relationships with technology, systems, content, and integration partners
  • Collaborate with external partners to create comprehensive lending and leasing solutions
  • Contribute to user and administration documentation for new capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience within a technology or software organization
  • 5+ years of experience with loan origination, business lending, consumer lending, equipment finance, leasing, or related lending technology solutions
  • Strong experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into product strategy, roadmaps, and actionable product requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and product development tools such as Jira
  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Development, and Quality Assurance teams throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Understanding of SaaS architecture and modern software delivery models
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and deployment practices
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and execution skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and hands-on execution
  • Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to travel approximately 5–10% as needed
  • Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
  • Preferred: experience migrating or transforming an on-premise software product into a SaaS-based offering
  • Preferred: experience with commercial lending, equipment finance, loan origination, or lending workflow platforms
  • Preferred: experience developing product business cases, forecasts, competitive analyses, and go-to-market strategies
  • Preferred: experience working directly with financial institutions and senior business and technology stakeholders
