About the role

  • Process Engineer at Wood, supporting lifecycle projects for a leading global consultancy. Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid role based in Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects across their full lifecycle, including study phase, DBM, FEED, and detailed design.
  • Apply strong engineering fundamentals to develop high-quality process deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exposure to a wide range of projects and support professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Currently registered or eligible for registration with APEGA
  • 2–10 years of relevant process engineering experience (new graduates may be considered for select roles)
  • Working knowledge of HYSYS, UniSim, or ProMax
  • Ability to perform hydraulics and general equipment sizing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects
  • Experience with AFT Fathom / Arrow (desirable)
  • PHA experience (desirable)
