About the role
- Software Engineer building Workday's public interface for Agent integration and communication. Focused on internal/external gateways and architecture for agent communication.
Responsibilities
- Build and Maintain an internal and external-facing gateway and network proxy for agent traffic.
- Build and Maintain MCP and A2A integration points for customers integrating with Workday.
- Identify pain-points in the Developer Experience, both internal and external, propose and implement solutions.
- Architect new, and simplify old authentication schemes for agents.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering in a modern programming language such as, but not limited to: Typescript, Rust, Go, Python, etc.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering in a modern programming language such as, but not limited to: Typescript, Rust, Go, Python, etc.
- Experience in Rust (Nice to have)
- Experience with LLM Agent Protocols such as MCP and A2A
- Experience with OAuth authentication schemes
