About the role

  • Senior Data Management Architect advising complex organizations on Workiva’s AI-powered finance, risk, and sustainability platform. Designing integrations, reporting, and scalable data workflows for customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand business needs, data requirements, and desired outcomes with Workiva solutions
  • Partner with the pre-sales team to transition from sales to implementation services and beyond
  • Engage with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams throughout onboarding and implementation
  • Analyze customer needs and recommend optimal use of Workiva’s Data Management Suite
  • Define tasks, contribute to project plans, and monitor consulting project delivery progress
  • Review and establish data integration workflows between customer systems and the Workiva platform
  • Review and develop data queries and reporting solutions, mentoring stakeholders on leading practices
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for customer and partner application owners
  • Review and create documentation for deployed solutions, configurations, and best practices
  • Share customer and partner feedback with Product Development and Product Management
  • Drive product adoption, customer satisfaction, and overall customer health
  • Define expected outcomes and demonstrate value realized by customers and partners
  • Document data management features and functionalities for internal and external reference
  • Monitor customer and partner environments and stay informed about the Workiva product roadmap

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, preferably Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar
  • 6+ years of related career experience in customer-facing roles
  • Bilingual in French or Spanish at Native/Executive level
  • Experience with Python for scripting and automation
  • Experience integrating or managing SaaS applications and enterprise systems
  • Experience with complex, regulated data structures and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with ERP, EPM, and enterprise data/analytics platforms
  • Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms and modern data architectures
  • Experience with Informatica, SSIS, Boomi, MuleSoft, or Workato
  • Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and scripting-based API execution
  • Knowledge of data engineering, data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL query development
  • Strong problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills
  • Ability to manage priorities independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
  • Ability to build credibility, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer success and long-term value creation
  • Reliable internet access when working remotely
