About the role
- Senior fullstack Web3 engineer building smart wallets, dApps, SDKs, and blockchain services for Xsolla’s global video game commerce platform. Owning backend, frontend, smart contract integration, security, and production operations.
Responsibilities
- Build and own features end to end across backend, frontend, and production
- Make and document on-chain/off-chain architecture decisions
- Ensure security and correctness of signing flows, contract interactions, keys, and secrets
- Build backend services in Go and TypeScript for chain indexing, transaction relaying, event processing, and APIs
- Build infrastructure backend services for tokenizing in-game items and currencies
- Build React dApp frontends for wallet connection, transaction signing, and on-chain state
- Integrate smart wallets, accounts, paymasters, and bundlers into products
- Develop SDKs used by game studios and partners
- Monitor production services and contracts and participate in on-call rotation
- Review code
- Configure and maintain AI tooling in repositories
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, smart contract, backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps engineers
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software development
- Senior-level production experience across backend and frontend
- dApps shipped to production and maintained
- Production experience with viem and wagmi
- Knowledge of wallet signers, EOAs, browser and embedded wallets, smart accounts, personal_sign, EIP-191, EIP-712, EIP-1193, and network switching
- Hands-on experience with smart wallets, UserOperations, paymasters, and ERC-1271
- Production services experience with Go and TypeScript/Node.js
- Experience processing on-chain events, including idempotency, reorg handling, and retries
- Experience with asynchronous messaging and event-driven design using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
- Experience designing REST and gRPC APIs
- Experience with React and TypeScript
- Knowledge of web security fundamentals including XSS, CSRF, CSP, and safe handling of signatures and keys in the browser
- Ability to read and understand Solidity contracts and the EVM
- Knowledge of smart contract vulnerability classes including reentrancy, front-running/MEV, oracle manipulation, and signature replay
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with observability, including metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, and production incident diagnosis
- Testing experience with unit, integration, and E2E tests
- Git and CI/CD experience
- Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, including repository configuration
- Spoken English at B2 level or higher
