Project Controls Specialist responsible for supporting Zeeco's Vapor Combustion Systems with manufacturing and troubleshooting. Ensuring compliance with local regulations and providing technical assistance in Canada.
Responsibilities
Overall support provided to Zeeco Vapor Combustion Systems within the Canadian region.
Manufacturing auditor, supervision and inspections, local parts and fabrication sourcing.
Onsite and remote technical troubleshooting and repair services for customers.
Clarifying local, provincial, and national regulations to assist product group engineers.
Supporting the product certification process for Vapor equipment supplied in Canada.
Communicating with customers and their affiliates for site specific issues, inspections, meetings, visits, etc.
Understanding mechanical and electrical drawings typical to combustion and recovery equipment.
Requirements
B.S. degree in Technology, Engineering, and/or 6-10 years of related field experience in the refining or petrochemical industry.
Ability to complete computer functions such as word processing, spreadsheet functions and email applications.
General understanding of computer networking applications and basic knowledge of PLC programming and hardware troubleshooting.
Capable of interpreting specialized documents and initiating effective communication to others.
Capable of writing or modifying new or existing documents typically used in this position requiring the ability to expressing the terminology, phrases and plain language needed to effectively communicate.
Capable of completing all required documentation related to this position in a timely manner per the guidelines provided.
Capable of working in both indoor and outdoor climates for all regions and in extreme cold and warm environments while equipped with company provided and required PPE.
Responsible for maintaining and operating all company provided tools including vehicles, cell phones, laptop computers, safety equipment, and company provided PPE required to complete the above tasks.
Responsible to complete and qualify for all company related Safety requirements for this position and following all company and customer required safety regulations while in company property or at any customer location.
Owning a state issued driver license with an acceptable driving history and no major offenses on their record.
