About the role
- Team Lead managing New Business Brokers at Zensurance, an InsurTech firm. Fostering team performance and directly closing insurance deals to boost revenue.
Responsibilities
- Mentor a team of New Business Brokers to help them hit their goals.
- Work directly with prospects and underwriters to close deals yourself.
- Improve team performance through hands-on coaching, shadow sessions, and actionable feedback.
- Keep the energy high and motivate your team to consistently hit and exceed monthly GWP targets.
- Lead daily huddles, coaching sessions, and file audits to ensure we are maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and service.
- Use your judgment to help brokers navigate complex contractor risks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of insurance experience (commercial insurance experience preferred).
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Valid provincial broker's license (RIBO preferred).
- Experience driving team performance.
- A hunter mentality with the persistence and agility to meet set targets consistently.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
