About the role
- Senior Cloud Application Specialist needed for contract/hybrid role in Toronto, ON. Must have 8-10+ years Azure, containerization, and DevOps experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with integrated security (DevSecOps); build and integrate scalable, cloud-native enterprise solutions using Microsoft Azure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift), and DevOps tools; write code to interact with RESTful APIs to replace manual processes; ensure enterprise cloud architecture, security, data engineering, and observability best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 8–10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud application development and engineering; demonstrated recent expertise in Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, AKS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift), and DevOps/automation tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines); experience in enterprise cloud architecture, security (IAM, encryption, compliance), data engineering (ETL/ELT, Azure data services), observability (monitoring/logging), and advanced DevOps/DevSecOps practices; experience writing code to interact with RESTful APIs; demonstrated experience designing, developing and implementing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with integrated security (DevSecOps).
