About the role
- Expert DBA with 5-7 years Azure MSSQL experience needed for 6-month contract. Requires PostgreSQL, tuning, optimization, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloud migration in hybrid Toronto role.
Responsibilities
- Database Administrator role focusing on Azure Cloud databases (MSSQL), PostgreSQL, setup/installation/configuration of DB products, tuning, query optimization, monitoring, troubleshooting database issues, cloud migration, and database backup/restore/recovery.
Requirements
- Must Haves: 5-7 years experience in Azure Cloud database (Focus on MSSQL), Experience with PostgreSQL (2+ years), Setup/Installation and configuration of DB products, Experience in Tuning, Query Optimization, Monitoring and Troubleshooting database issues, Cloud migration experience, Exhibit knowledge of DB backup restore and recovery. Nice to have: ServiceNow Ticketing System, SolarWind Performance Tool, Azure Certification, Financial Industry experience.
