About the role
- Code owners licensing existing software repositories for evaluation and revenue opportunities. Submitting eligible codebases for assessment and compensation under agreed licensing terms.
Responsibilities
- Submit an existing software repository for an initial assessment of its potential licensing value.
- Receive an evaluation based on the codebase and applicable acceptance criteria.
- Explore licensing opportunities if the repository qualifies.
- Review the estimated value before deciding whether to proceed.
- License eligible code under agreed terms and receive compensation if a transaction is completed.
Requirements
- Software development experience or ownership of an existing software product, application, or repository.
- Full ownership or legal rights to license the submitted source code.
- Access to original code repositories, including discontinued products, abandoned projects, internal tools, or independently developed software.
- Code must not include third-party material that you are not permitted to sublicense.
