Responsibilities
- The Director of Information Technology (Director, Data and AI) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the adoption of data-driven decision-making, implementing advanced analytics and AI solutions, and overseeing the management of enterprise data to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and safety at Bruce Power. They lead teams implementing enterprise data management and governance, advanced analytics, automation, and AI solutions, and require a digital mindset to drive digital transformation while managing strategy, budget, external partnerships, and internal resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 5 years leading an IT team. Proven experience in data, analytics, automation, AI/ML leadership. Strong understanding of AI technologies, data engineering, analytics methodologies, and data management principles. Excellent project management and communication skills. Strategic thinker with a track record of driving innovation and change.
