About the role
- Head of IT Operations role leading infrastructure team, managing datacenter/on-prem systems, and driving technical excellence in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of infrastructure engineers. Own day-to-day operations: servers, storage, networking, virtualization, monitoring, and backups. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and act as the escalation point for operations. Collaborate with developers, architects, and security teams to deliver projects on time. Improve processes, automation, and operational standards across infrastructure services.
Requirements
- 7+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering (on-prem focus: servers, virtualization, storage, networking). 2+ years in technical or team leadership. Strong expertise in Windows Server, Debian/RHEL Linux, VMWare/Hyper-V/Proxmox, storage systems, networking (Fortinet/Cisco), and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Experience with ITIL, change management, incident/problem resolution. Strong communicator with proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate cross-functionally.
