About the role
- HPC Engineer for Cryo-EM Core supporting HPC environments and scientific computing infrastructure. Onsite support required for Toronto installations and deployments.
Responsibilities
- Support High Performance Computing (HPC) environments and Cryo-EM/scientific computing infrastructure. Manage Linux-based systems and cluster management, including HPC cluster installation, configuration, and deployment. Handle GPU computing, parallel processing, scientific workloads, and large-scale data processing/storage systems. Provide onsite installation and system deployment support in Toronto.
Requirements
- Strong experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) environments. Experience supporting Cryo-EM or scientific computing infrastructure. Expertise in Linux-based systems and cluster management. Experience with HPC cluster installation, configuration, and deployment. Knowledge of GPU computing, parallel processing, or scientific workloads. Experience managing large-scale data processing and storage systems. Ability to support onsite installations and system deployments in Toronto.
