About the role
- Kelly Services seeks an IT Field Service Technician for hardware, networking, and troubleshooting support in New Brunswick.
Responsibilities
- As a Field Service technician, you will support our clients with their hardware, networking, and troubleshooting requirements. Duties include arriving at branch, unpacking boxes, replacing existing AIO desktops with new Tiny CPUs and TIO monitors, testing, cleaning, and reporting to Command Center. Future roles are sporadic and on-call (ticket based) with pay rate of $26-$29/hour plus 4% vacation pay and paid mileage. You will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, servers, printers, POS installations, and network issues. Execute install, moves, adds, changes (IMAC) projects, maintain accurate service stock levels, adhere to SLAs, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 1+ years of hardware, networking, and troubleshooting experience; in-field experience considered an asset. 6 months of proven customer service experience. Must be an amazing problem solver, technically and mechanically savvy, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, organization, and time management. A+ certified or have experience. On-site service required. Must have a car, cell phone, laptop, console cable, and basic tool kit. Willing to travel and stay overnight if necessary. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
