- Hiring an Intermediate GCP Data Engineer for a Fortune 100 retailer. 6-month contract + extension, 2-3 days/week in Toronto, ON.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking an Intermediate GCP Data Engineer to join our team for a contract role with a Fortune 100 major retailer. The role involves working with Google Cloud Platform technologies to build and maintain data pipelines, optimize processes, and ensure data quality across large datasets. This position requires 2-3 days per week onsite in Toronto, ON.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Google BigQuery, GCP Dataflow, Pub/Sub, PySpark, Airflow, Vertex AI, Iceberg, Starrocks; applied AI/ML experience; familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP); strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; commitment to data accuracy, governance, and performance.
