About the role

  • Leading process improvement initiatives within Commercial Lending Operations, focusing on implementing emerging technologies like AI and Robotic Process Automation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal Process Specialists and SMEs to implement the client’s Commercial Lending Operations improvement plan within the first year. Focus on straight-through processing, process simplification, and enhancing data integrity through emerging tech solutions. Partner with Project Delivery and Senior Leadership to develop initiatives for subsequent years. Analyze current state processes and propose future state processes in coordination with technology teams. Provide subject matter expertise to design, develop, and implement project solutions from business case through execution. Deliver projects aligned with organizational goals, leveraging Lean Process Improvement skills. Develop and manage project charters, business cases, status reports, and performance metrics. Conduct volume, product, and attribute analysis to inform process improvements. Lead change management efforts, including stakeholder analysis, communication strategies, training plans, and readiness assessments. Influence stakeholders and negotiate to meet business objectives. Monitor project progress, address issues proactively, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery. Act as a trusted advisor across various business units, supporting strategic planning and decision-making. Coordinate cross-functional efforts for change initiatives and provide ongoing support for sustainment.

Requirements

  • Extensive expertise in Lean Process Improvement methodologies. Strong analytical skills including cost/benefits analysis, data and attribute analysis. Proven experience preparing project charters, business cases, and status reports. Expertise in change management and stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in process mapping (current and future state). Knowledge of performance measurement metrics and KPIs. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at various levels. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Experience working in dynamic, matrix environments with multiple priorities.
