About the role
- We are hiring a Photonics Data Analysis Engineer to develop fitting algorithms, maintain data visualization platforms, and analyze photonic device performance in a hybrid-remote role in Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Applying advanced mathematical, physical, and statistical skills to develop new fitting algorithms and maintain existing ones. Developing and maintaining a data visualization platform that engineers can use to make critical engineering decisions. Assigning credible intervals to derived metrics of the analysis and ascertain what conclusions are able to be drawn from given data. Forecasting uncertainties of proposed experimental designs to measure photonic device performance at bleeding edge precision. Debugging results of analysis at each step in the process – determining if unexpected results are due to software failure, experimental failure or physical properties of the device.
