About the role
- Senior QA Performance Tester needed for contract in Toronto, ON. Requires 10+ years QE experience, 6+ years JMeter load testing, 2+ years API testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform load, stress, spike, and endurance testing using Apache JMeter, AppDynamics, Splunk, and Kafka. Conduct API testing with ReadyAPI, analyze thread dumps and heap dumps, correlate logs, and script with JMeter. Work in Agile methodology with shift-left performance testing, focusing on banking and payments processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of overall QE testing experience; minimum 6+ years of experience in load testing using JMeter; 2+ years of experience in API testing (ReadyAPI); experience with Performance Testing (Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance), tools (Apache JMeter, AppDynamics, Splunk, Kafka), monitoring & analysis (thread dumps, heap analysis, log correlation), scripting & automation (JMeter scripting, parameterization, correlation), methodologies (Agile, Shift-left performance testing), and domain knowledge in Banking and Payments.
