- ServiceNow Discovery Engineer/ITOM Specialist role focused on building, optimizing, and scaling Discovery in complex enterprise environments while driving impact across SAM, HAM, and ITOM maturity.
Responsibilities
- Designing and managing MID Servers at scale; Building custom probes, sensors, and patterns (not just OOTB); Driving high-quality CMDB data that actually supports the business; Leading Service Mapping for critical applications; Improving software compliance (SAM) and hardware lifecycle visibility (HAM); Working across cloud + on-prem (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Requirements
- 5+ years with ServiceNow Discovery + ITOM; Strong pattern development + Service Mapping (must-have); Deep understanding of network protocols (SSH, SNMP, WMI, HTTP/S); Scripting skills (JavaScript, PowerShell, Shell); Experience turning messy data into trusted CMDB insights.
