About the role
- Senior Databricks Developer to support Synapse to Databricks migration and build production-grade data engineering pipelines for global asset management technology.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Databricks solutions to support enterprise data engineering needs. Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines across the data lifecycle (raw/bronze to refined/silver to curated/gold). Develop data models that support analytics and downstream consumption across layers. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows. Support migration activities from existing platforms to Databricks in an enterprise environment. Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and project teams to deliver platform improvements.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows. Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT pipelines. Experience with data modeling across multiple layers (raw/bronze, refined/silver, curated/gold). Ability to work in large-scale enterprise data environments and support migration projects. Nice to have: Experience with Synapse to Databricks migration initiatives. Familiarity with supporting both institutional and retail asset management data use cases.
