About the role
- Lead IT infrastructure team managing servers, virtualization, storage, networking & monitoring. Hands-on role requiring 7+ years infrastructure ops experience and 2+ years technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of infrastructure engineers across corporate systems and production operations. Own day-to-day infrastructure operations, including servers, virtualization, storage, networking, and monitoring tools. Participate hands-on in projects and incident resolution, ensuring uptime, reliability, and operational excellence. Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, architects, and security teams to deliver infrastructure solutions. Drive process improvements, system optimization, and enforce IT governance, change control, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Must-Have Skills & Experience: 7+ years in IT infrastructure operations or systems engineering (on-prem focus). 2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role. Strong hands-on expertise in Linux/Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, storage systems, networking (Fortinet/Cisco), containers & orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell). Experience with datacenter operations, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), and operational best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Bonus / Nice to Have: Experience with cloud (Azure/AWS) is helpful, but the focus is on on-prem infrastructure. Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server). Knowledge of IaC & CI/CD tools (Terraform, Ansible).
