About the role
- VMware Engineer needed for a permanent, full-time hybrid role in Toronto, ON. Must have VCF migration and upgrade experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain AVI Networks and VMware NSX platforms. Perform routine health checks, upgrades, and patch management. Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and outages related to AVI and NSX environments. Troubleshoot and analyze root causes, implementing corrective actions. Implement configuration changes and updates as per change management processes. Document configurations, processes, and procedures. Monitor platform performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. Tune load balancing, network segmentation, and security policies. Work closely with application, network, and security teams to support business requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during deployments and migrations. Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and implement necessary controls. Maintain comprehensive operational documentation. Generate regular reports on platform performance, incidents, and changes.
Requirements
- Candidate should mandatorily have VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) migration and upgrade experience. Experience Range: 10 Yrs.
