About the role

  • Remote outbound appointment setter booking qualified Zoom consultations for financial advisors. Handling high-volume calls, prospect qualification, objections, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Make high-volume outbound calls using company-provided prospect lists
  • Work within an automated/power dialing system
  • Follow demographic-specific scripts and messaging
  • Introduce the purpose of financial education or planning consultations
  • Schedule qualified prospects for 30-minute Zoom appointments
  • Book appointments according to advisor calendar availability
  • Conduct brief qualification conversations before scheduling
  • Determine genuine interest rather than simply booking uncommitted appointments
  • Handle common objections professionally and calmly
  • Adjust conversations naturally while remaining within approved messaging
  • Offer future appointment times or follow-up opportunities when prospects are initially unavailable
  • Maintain a consultative, non-aggressive phone demeanor
  • Generate appointments likely to attend
  • Clearly communicate the purpose and value of scheduled meetings
  • Record relevant information gathered during conversations
  • Maintain accurate appointment details
  • Support confirmation or reminder activity if incorporated in the future
  • Maintain consistent outbound activity throughout scheduled calling hours
  • Work efficiently through large prospect databases
  • Follow assigned demographic campaigns and calling scripts
  • Track calling outcomes and appointment activity
  • Participate in coaching, mock calls, and ongoing script refinement
  • Provide task-specific business support services to financial advisors and clients
  • Operate under an independent contractor agreement with agreed timelines, guidelines, and deliverables

Requirements

  • Previous cold calling or outbound telemarketing experience required
  • Appointment-setting experience required
  • Power dialer or automated dialing experience strongly preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Strong objection-handling skills required
  • Excellent spoken English communication required
  • Financial services, insurance, mortgage, banking, retirement, or related industry experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to learn demographic-specific scripts and basic financial-services terminology
  • Previous experience working with U.S. consumers strongly preferred
  • Experienced and confident outbound caller
  • Clear and easily understood spoken English
  • Able to sound conversational rather than simply reading a script
  • Comfortable handling objections without becoming overly aggressive
  • Persistent while remaining respectful
  • Goal-oriented and motivated by appointment-setting performance
  • Coachable and willing to learn retirement-plan and financial-services terminology
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume dialing environment
  • Knowledge of power/automated dialing systems required
  • Knowledge of calendar and appointment scheduling platforms
  • Knowledge of Zoom
  • Knowledge of lead databases/prospect lists
  • English required
  • Clear, easily understood English required (Accent Preference: Level A-B)
  • Independent contractor status under a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work
