About the role

  • Associate in Human Factors at 30 Forensic Engineering evaluating driver performance and conducting technical analysis for forensic cases. Works closely with senior professionals and contributes to client consultations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site examinations to gather field measurements
  • Conduct literature reviews to synthesize research and evidence into cohesive opinions
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports based upon investigations and analysis
  • Effectively communicate investigation and analysis findings to colleagues
  • Provide expert testimony in court
  • Manage and complete investigation tasks on time and within budget
  • Participate in publishing and client meetings
  • Develop understanding of the firm's core values and strategic plan

Requirements

  • Post graduate degree in human factors, kinesiology or engineering (with human factors content) with emphasis in driver performance, reaction time, perception and response, is preferred
  • Work experience in forensic engineering and human factors / ergonomics an asset
  • Professional certification with the Canadian College for the Certification of Professional Ergonomists (CCCPE), or equivalent, an asset
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
