About the role

  • Field Team Manager leading AbbVie’s Canadian AbbVie Care patient support program. Managing regional field teams, reimbursement strategy, KPIs, and cross-functional operations.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage the strategy, operations and tactical implementation of the AbbVie Care program for the region of Canada
  • Manage the regionally based field team consisting of DMs, FCMs, PCSs and supporting roles
  • Collaborate with AbbVie Care management, operations, data, governance, marketing, commercial, access and trade teams
  • Collaborate with Innomar/Cencora to implement HR policies and procedures for the field-based team
  • Ensure field team activities align with patient support program strategy and shared business objectives
  • Develop understanding of patient journeys in immunology indications and adjust program offerings for patients and HCPs
  • Identify strategies and implement tactics to minimize time to reimbursement
  • Work with Provincial Affair Managers to align with reimbursement status and procedures
  • Leverage key performance indicators, CRM database and available reports
  • Maintain communication between AbbVie Care marketing, brand teams, sales, Trade relations, vendors and field team
  • Optimize field team resources and cost efficiency
  • Assist with revisions of field team SOPs, reporting, templates, KPIs and best practices
  • Collaborate with Innomar/Cencora on field team KPIs and performance evaluations
  • Organize and execute regional district meetings
  • Provide customer service to AbbVie sales team and external customers to resolve in-clinic support challenges
  • Provide strategic input and guide DMs participating in IFT initiatives
  • Develop content and participate at advisory boards as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science and/or Business Administration
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • Previous Management Experience required
  • Five years in a similar role or strong transferable skills
  • Strong computer skills; must be proficient with Excel and Powerpoint
  • Working understanding of provincial, federal and private reimbursement
  • Ability to implement commercial opportunities in a timely fashion and adapt as needed
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills
  • Superior interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Results driven, demonstrated analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, strong collaboration skills
  • Advanced knowledge of English / Fluency in English is an essential requirement
  • Availability to travel about 20-30% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license and passport are required
