About the role

  • Accounts Receivable and Collection Specialist managing collections, billing issues, and reconciliations for Achievers’ global employee recognition SaaS platform. Supporting cash flow, customer retention, audits, and scalable finance operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer collections and ensure timely receipt of payments
  • Resolve billing-related inquiries and customer credit issues
  • Perform accounts receivable analysis and reconciliations
  • Create journal entries and follow up on open and reconciling items
  • Identify outstanding receivables and contact customers regarding their debt
  • Generate monthly reports and assist with account reconciliation
  • Collaborate with Finance, Customer Success, Sales, Operations, and internal and external customers
  • Recommend solutions and assist in developing process improvement policies and procedures
  • Assist in financial audits and collaborate with external auditors as necessary
  • Support customer retention, cash flow health, and scalable finance operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 2+ years previous experience in accounting, accounts receivable and/or collections
  • Advanced knowledge of collection techniques and billing procedures
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems
  • Good attention to detail and prioritization skills with time-sensitive deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • NetSuite and Salesforce experience advantageous but not required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced SaaS environment advantageous
