About the role

  • Director of Product for Data & Intelligence leading Acquia's Data Product Team. Transforming data assets into a unified, AI-ready ecosystem for operational intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the centralized Data Product Team.
  • Be accountable for the strategic roadmap and long-range execution of the Core Data Layer (CDL), unifying product and business data sources into a decentralized intelligence architecture.
  • Manage the centralization of fragmented data assets into a semantic intelligence layer, ensuring data is accessible for cross-product reasoning and executive decision-making.
  • Partner with GTM leadership to deliver actionable insights that improve account management performance and transform platform usage into monetizable, value-based outcomes.
  • Drive the transition toward an AI-native PDLC, ensuring the product team is comfortable operating in a high-velocity, automated development environment.
  • Lead the strategy for enterprise-wide observability to reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) while establishing clear KPIs for data quality and decision impact.
  • Enforce "Safe-by-Design" protocols, including automated PII redaction and robust access controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing complex data environments, including Big Data, Data Warehousing, and real-time stream management.
  • Strong working knowledge of vector databases (pgVector), semantic data structures, and AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain) sufficient to guide technical teams and validate architectural decisions.
  • Significant experience (5-10 years) leading high-performance product teams, with a specific focus on SaaS analytics, observability infrastructure, or usage-based platforms.
  • Significant experience in PaaS, enterprise software, or Digital Experience Platform (DXP) environments.
  • Ability to drive outcomes in a transformed product landscape where AI is a core capability, not just a feature.
  • Strategic maturity that is demonstrated by an ability to manage long-range planning and enterprise-level impact as well as conduct regular business reviews with a focus on P&L impact, product adoption, and financial performance (Revenue, COGS, Margin).
